Hey, Moiz here from SensoryMoon, and I just wanted to take a moment to welcome you to the SensoryMoon community :-)

I'm very excited to have you here, and so happy you bought one of our SensoryMoon products. I am confident that you will love it, and if anything ends up not working the way you hoped—I'm always an email away to help you out!

I also wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves again—and to remind you AND myself on why we do this in the first place.
 

So... who are we?

SensoryMoon is a small family-run business—it is really just me, my dad, my mom, and brother running this whole operation.

But while we may be pretty small, I think we have a pretty big mission. And that mission is to help bring the joy of sensory rooms and sensory room products to as many kids with sensory needs as possible.
 

Sensory rooms are an Amazing tool for kids with Autism, ADD/ADHD, and Sensory Processing Disorder.

Because these children don't process sensory information from the outside world the way you and I do, they typically have unmet needs that impair their ability to function at the optimal level they should be.

In the same way we might get hungry and can't focus until we eat something nourishing, children with sensory needs can't function optimally until they get their sensory needs met.

And THAT is exactly where sensory rooms come in!
 

Sensory rooms provide a dedicated space for these kids to meet their sensory needs in a safe, supervised, and judgment-free environment.

For a child constantly overwhelmed by the sensory stimulation of the outside world, this might mean a calming relaxing space to help him get through the day. Or for a child who never feels like he is getting enough movement, this could mean an active playground to stimulate his proprioceptive sense.

Either way, sensory rooms are there to help these kids meet their sensory needs, and we're very excited to take part in that!

Now, I know not everyone is ready to build a complete sensory room yet—and that is completely OK! I'm just happy you took the leap and decided to buy at least one sensory item for a loved one.
 

Anyways, while there is a LOT more I can say on the subject...

I'll end off here and say: thank you so much for supporting my family, for supporting YOUR family, and for joining a community that I hope will soon help countless families around the world.
